Yves Rasch’s works are the expression and envelope of an inner tension, movement in form. They have a physical presence without being figurative, are a counterpart that seems to suffice itself and thus rests in space.

He creates the wooden sculptures from whole blocks, shaped in countless hours, with his hands, his head and his belly.

His bronzes are casts of these wooden originals.
